Tom Coate

After Graduating from the RAU in 2013 with a 1st Class Degree in Agriculture, Tom spent 10 years working with large scale arable and livestock businesses covering all aspects of practical farming.

More recently, he has provided consultancy and management advice to retained clients for a national firm, covering farm business management, environmental subsidies and one-off grant applications, with a particular interest in the management of contract farming agreements and in hand farming operations.

Tom is FACTS qualified and was the winner of the 2022 Brian Chambers Award, with the intention to undertake his BASIS in Crop Protection in the near future.

At weekends he is either found on the golf course, shooting or walking "Scruffy" the Jack Russel.
