Mobas Group

Mar, 18 2024

Ceres Rural is growing, so we are looking for qualified and experienced agronomists to join the team and help some of the exciting clients and farmers we work with.

We would like the brightest and best people on our team. Those who are ambitious and strive to provide an exceptional service to our clients. Our objective is to deliver truly independent and highly valued advice, led by experience, science and innovation.

Ceres Rural has five offices, Saffron Walden (HQ), Chelmsford, Shrewsbury, Oxford and Norwich. These roles would be most suitable for someone able to service either the east and south of the country, notably the counties of Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, or the West Midlands, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire.

You will be provided with the opportunity to undertake further training, however you must have already successfully obtained your BASIS (certificate in crop protection) and FACTS qualifications, and completed at least two years of practical experience since.

You will work alongside our talented and dynamic team of consultants, reporting to a Partner in the business. This will give you excellent exposure and nurturing to further your career at Ceres Rural, where your prospects include partnership.

Ceres Rural offers a range of benefits, including by not limited to:

  • Discretionary bonus
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. You will qualify for one additional day for every two years of service, up to a max of 30 days.
  • Guaranteed Christmas ‘shut down’ period
  • Pension contributions
  • Corporate merchandise/clothing
  • Training and examination funding
  • Use of modern technology, including iPhone and laptop
  • Corporate membership to the AICC and NIAB

To discuss the position further, call Alex Hall on 07592 041664, or Alice Andrews on 07592 041520. To apply, email a covering letter and CV to alex.hall@ceresrural.co.uk and alice.andrews@ceresrural.co.uk.
