Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Operator & Relief Sprayer Operator to join our team based near Ingatestone, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a professional arable farming business using modern machinery and precision farming technology.
The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach across all areas of the farming operation and will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team. Enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Likely duties will include:
- Drilling with a Vaderstad Rapid
- Primary and secondary cultivations
- Relief spray operation on a Fendt Rogator
- General tractor and arable farm work
- Use of GPS and precision farming technology
- Machinery maintenance and workshop duties
Key Qualifications & Skills
- PA1 and PA2 spraying certificates
- Telehandler qualification
- Experience operating modern arable machinery
- GPS and precision farming experience beneficial
- Good workshop and machinery maintenance skills
- Welding experience would be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Training can be provided for the right candidate.
