Ceres Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Alpine Planning Ltd, strengthening the Group’s multidisciplinary offering and further enhancing its presence in the Midlands and wider UK market.

As part of the acquisition, Alex and Louise Jelley, founders of Alpine Planning, join Ceres Group as Partners, bringing with them significant expertise and an established reputation within the Northamptonshire planning landscape. With extensive experience working across local government, landowners and private developers, Alex and Louise add considerable depth to the Group’s planning capability and client offering.

Their appointment supports Ceres Group’s continued investment in high‑quality advisory services across property, planning, rural and development sectors, and reflects the firm’s commitment to attracting senior talent in growth areas of the business.

The acquisition also coincides with the opening of Ceres Group’s new Northamptonshire office, marking an important milestone in the Group’s regional expansion and reinforcing its long‑term commitment to serving clients locally with national expertise.

Commenting on the acquisition, John McLarty, Managing Partner at Ceres, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Alex and Louise to Ceres Group. Their experience, market knowledge and approach to client service align strongly with our values and ambitions for the business. Planning continues to be a key growth area for the Group, and this acquisition reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening our service offering and investing in the future. The opening of our Northamptonshire office is an exciting step forward and underlines the momentum we are building across the wider firm.”

Louise Jelley added:

“Joining Ceres Group as Partners is an exciting next chapter for myself and Alex. The Group’s multidisciplinary platform, collaborative culture and long‑term vision provide an excellent opportunity for growth, both for our clients and ourselves. We look forward to contributing to the continued success of Ceres Group.”

This acquisition reinforces Ceres Group’s strategy of sustainable growth through the integration of specialist expertise, ensuring clients continue to benefit from a joined‑up, forward‑thinking advisory service.
