Dan specialises in farm management and agronomy, providing strategic and practical advice to clients across the East Midlands. As a qualified BASIS, FACTS, and BETA Conservation Management advisor, Dan delivers clear, tailored guidance on crop production, business planning, contract farming arrangements, and environmental stewardship schemes.

Dan is a full member of the Association of Independent Crop Consultants (AICC) and serves on the council of the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM).

He spent a year working on a large-scale cropping and cattle operation in Kansas, USA, followed by three years in Western Australia’s agricultural industry. Dan split his time between harvest and seeding across a 17,000-acre arable enterprise, as well as mustering on a nine million-acre cattle station in the Kimberly region, home to over 100,000 head of cattle. In 2021, Dan worked the 2021 vintage at a Margaret River winery.

Outside of work, Dan runs his own flock of Exlana sheep and enjoys skiing, cycling, and walking.
