Dan specialises in farm management and agronomy, providing strategic and practical advice to clients across the East Midlands. As a qualified BASIS, FACTS, and BETA Conservation Management advisor, Dan delivers clear, tailored guidance on crop production, business planning, contract farming arrangements, and environmental stewardship schemes.

Dan is a full member of the Association of Independent Crop Consultants (AICC) and serves on the council of the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM).

Prior to entering the field of farm consultancy, Dan gained extensive international experience. He spent a year working on a large-scale cropping and cattle operation in Kansas, USA, followed by three years in Western Australia’s agricultural industry. Dan split his time between harvest and seeding across a 17,000-acre arable enterprise, as well as mustering on a nine million-acre cattle station in the Kimberly region, home to over 100,000 head of cattle. In 2021, Dan worked the 2021 vintage at a Margaret River winery.

Outside of work, Dan runs his own flock of Exlana sheep and enjoys skiing, cycling, and walking.
