Many farm businesses are seeking reliable, knowledgeable support to stay compliant with evolving regulations and assurance schemes. At Ceres Rural, we’re proud to confirm that not only do we already deliver these services for a wide range of clients – we also have the capacity to take on more.

Our Ceres Rural Compliance Service is designed to provide practical, tailored support across all key areas of farm compliance. Whether you’re preparing for an audit, updating your environmental plans, or navigating NVZ regulations, our team is here to help.

Farm Compliance Support

We offer hands-on assistance with:

  • Environmental Scheme Management – including the creation, review and updating of required records and plans
  • Soil Management Plans
  • Nutrient Management Plans
  • Manure Handling and NVZ Regulations
  • Integrated Pest Management Plans

These services are already being delivered to clients across the UK, helping them stay compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

Assurance Scheme Audit Preparation

We support farm businesses in meeting the full requirements of assurance schemes, ensuring records are complete and compliance is achieved. This includes:

  • Red Tractor (Crops and Sugar Beet, Fresh Produce, Dairy, Beef and Lamb)
  • LEAF Marque Audits
  • Dairy Processor Audits

Our team understands the nuances of each scheme and works closely with clients to ensure smooth, successful audits.

Chloe Timberlake, Ceres Rural:

I recently assisted a client with an Environment Agency inspection. This included preparing all necessary information beforehand, to include meeting data requests from the Environment Agency, such as Nitrate Vulnerable Zone compliance records, Soil Management and Nutrient Management Plans, in a user-friendly format. The inspection itself was accompanied to ensure smooth running. Following the inspection, further information has been supplied to the Environment Agency to satisfy their requirements to ensure compliance. Being able to identify areas the Environment Agency would be particularly keen to inspect from a regulatory position, helping to reduce stress for the farm manager and to ensure a good outcome.

Proven Experience, Ready Capacity

We’re not starting from scratch. Our consultants are already delivering these services to existing clients, and we’re ready to expand. Whether you’re a farm business affected by the withdrawal of services from other providers or simply looking for a proactive compliance partner, we’re here to help.
